The 11-city tour of clubs and theatres launches March 15 at Canes in San Diego and wraps April 3 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.

Highlights include stops at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles (March 16), the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore. (March 20), First Avenue in Minneapolis (March 25), Paradise Rock Club in Boston (March 29) and the Starlight Ballroom in Philadelphia (April 2).

Although Boredoms’ last studio release was 2004’s Seadrum/House of Sun, the decidedly avant-garde band has reportedly been busy experimenting with new recording techniques, including capturing drum sounds underwater and using contact microphones to capture the sounds made by the body while dancing, for an upcoming album.
