Carrington, a frequent guest on “The Bob and Tom Radio Show,” released his latest album, King of the Mountains, last April. The disc, his seventh, debuted at the top of the comedy charts.

In addition, he starred in his first Comedy Central special, released his first live DVD (“Rodney Carrington Live at The Majestic Theatre”) and book (“Coming Clean”) and spent the majority of the year on the road for the first time since the debut of his television show in 2004.

The singer/comedian is currently co-writing a film with fellow country singer Toby Keith. “Beer for My Horses,” based on Keith’s 2002 duet with Willie Nelson, will also feature Carrington as co-star.
