The Hideaway BBQ in Raleigh, N.C., is closing its doors January 19th after a 15-month run.
Talent buyer Marianne Taylor cited the "economics of additionally running a restaurant" for the club’s demise.
Primarily a roots music showcase, the Hideaway featured Southern Culture On The Skids, The Waybacks, Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, Wayne "The Train" Hancock, Marshall Crenshaw and Ray Wylie Hubbard during its brief run.
Shows booked by Taylor and scheduled at the venue after January 19th are being moved to other venues, primarily the Berkeley Café in Raleigh, where she will continue booking roots music shows.
Taylor can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 919-376-9532.
