Tokyo Police Club enjoyed a whirlwind year in 2007, with an extensive international touring schedule that included appearances at Coachella, Sasquatch, Virgin Festival, Glastonbury, Hurricane Festival, Southside Festival, Hovefestival, Accelerator Festival, T in the Park, Ottawa Bluesfest, Lollapalooza and Reading and Leeds Festivals.

TPC’s Dave Monks and Graham Wright told Pollstar prior to the band’s set at last year’s Sasquatch festival that they were looking forward to the experience of playing such big festivals.

“I like the hustle and bustle of it… it’s worth it just to play to all these great crowds,” Wright said. “And people that get up and come and see bands all day long – I don’t know how they do it. They maintain enthusiasm like 12 hours a day.”

Here’s TPC making its network television debut last April on “Late Night with David Letterman.”

The band’s full-length debut is expected in April.
