Travis Barker Not A Rockstar
Travis Barker may be a rockstar, or something like that, but that doesn’t mean he wants to give free advertising to the energy drink of the same name.
The former Blink-182 drummer sued Rockstar January 16th for invasion of privacy, unfair competition and misappropriating his likeness to promote the product after the company’s Web site featured a picture of Barker holding a can of Rockstar along with his name without his consent, according to the Washington Post.
The lawsuit, which claims the Plus 44 drummer is "a prominent figure in the rock music world," is seeking unspecified punitive and statutory damages.
