The band will warm up for the tour with an appearance at the Super Bowl XLII halftime show February 3 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Petty’s cross-continental trek launches May 30 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., and will drop in on cities scattered across the U.S. and Canada through the end of August.

Highlights include stops at Air Canada Centre in Toronto (June 03), Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Va. (June 08), Madison Square Garden in New York City (June 17), Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (June 25), Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati (July 8), St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. (July 16), Target Center in Minneapolis (July 23), MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba (August 09), Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash. (August 15-16), Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif. (August 22), and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas (August 29).

Presale tickets will be available to members of Petty’s Highway Companions Club beginning January 30 at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are limited to eight per member, with a maximum of four tickets per show.

In addition to member only presales, Petty & The Heartbreakers will be offering a Dream package, which will be available exclusively to members of the Highway Companion Club during the presale period. If packages are not sold-out during the presale, the remaining inventory will be made available to the public during the public onsale.

General ticket sales for most dates on the tour begin February 4 at Ticketmaster.com.

In an apparent effort to combat scalping and thwart the secondary ticketing market, all tickets will be held at the venue box office for pick up by the purchaser using a picture I.D. No exchanges, name changes or refunds will be allowed.
