SeeMe Gets A Girl Called Maria
Top Bulgarian pop, soul and R&B diva Maria Ilieva, who will be appearing at this year’s South-East European Music Event (SeeMe), says she’s pleased to have the chance to be part of a gathering that has already gained international importance.
It will be the third SeeMe, which have all been held at Sofia’s Central Military Club, and the event has quickly established itself as a major conference, exhibition and festival for all the DJs, producers, club promoters, label managers and other industry professionals in the Balkan dance music scene.
The organizers have pitched it as "your ticket to discovering the best of what the electronic music scene in South-East Europe has to offer," while the U.K.’s DJ Mag called it "three days of conferences and seminars in the elegantly imposing surrounding of the Central Military Club followed by a succession of parties across the city at night."
It’s been called the Balkan equivalent of the Miami Winter Music Conference or Sonar.
This year’s SeeMe is June 5-7 and registration details are at seeme-sofia.com.
