Running Out Of Girl Power

The Spice Girls tour ends February 26th in Toronto and will not be heading to Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina as planned.

“Sadly, the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria,” the group said in a statement.

Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm are exhausted from the grueling schedule and told the other three girls “we’ve had enough,” according to the Daily Mail. The U.K. paper said it will cost them “millions in lost earnings” and will disappoint “thousands of fans.”

“Mel B wasn’t having any of it,” a source told the paper.  “She misses her husband and children and said she couldn’t go on.  She’s also been flooded with U.S. offers after her success on ‘Dancing With The Stars.’”

The tour, which launched with fanfare and quick ticket sales, has allegedly slowed its momentum and has reportedly been hampered by poor ticket sales.
