After select appearances at SXSW, the band gets thing rolling in its hometown of Minneapolis on April 10 and continue its way across the country throughout the month and well into May.

Dates include stops at the Metro in Chicago; The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza; the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC; Common Grounds in Gainsville, Fla.; Antone’s in Austin, Texas; two nights at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, Richards on Richards in Vancouver, and the Bluebird Theatre in Denver.

The ticket presale starts on February 15 at noon EST via tapesntapes.com and public on-sale is set for February 22.

Produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Sleater-Kinney, Weezer). Walk It Off is Tapes ‘N Tapes first record since 2006’s acclaimed The Loon, which solidly established the band.

True to its signature sound of shaky vocals, bursts of low-fi guitars and keyboard refrains, the band says the new album further explores Tapes ‘N Tapes distinct brand of jittery rock.
