Osmonds Fan Unhappy At The Back

It’s usually the secondary ticket sellers accused of offering front-row tickets and then delivering seats with a poor sight lines at the back of the house, but Osmonds fans in Scotland have complained that Ticketmaster also does it.

According to papers including the Scottish Daily Record, the country’s "No. 1 Osmonds fan" was turfed off seats she bought for the act’s 50th anniversary concert and moved 23 rows back.

"I bought tickets through Ticketmaster in October," mother of two Barbara McGookin reportedly told the Record. "They were available pre-sale to fan club members. Now Ticketmaster say there was an error. They’ve offered me terrible seats way back to the left of the stage with an obstructed view. I paid for the front and should get what I ordered."

The lifelong fan’s tickets were given to promoter Live Nation, who sold £249 package deals that included meeting the band.

An SECC box office employee confirmed the alternative seats could have restricted views.

Rosie Hills, communications manager of Ticketmaster U.K. Ltd,. said: "We contacted customers to arrange alternative seating or a refund. Most have been satisfactorily re-seated."
