Cyrus will kick off his 2008 schedule March 7 at Wild Bill’s in Duluth, Ga., and has appearances scheduled at festivals, casinos and fairs across the U.S. and Canada through October.

Upcoming stops on the itinerary include the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fla. (March 8), Thunderbird Casino & Event Center in Norman, Okla. (March 21), Hanover Theatre For The Performing Arts in Worchester, Mass. (March 29), Country Thunder USA in Florence, Ariz. (April 19), Peppermill Concert Hall in West Wendover, Nev. (May 3), the Porterfield Country Festival at Green’s Green Acres in Wisconsin (June 21), Harrah’s Cherokee Casino in North Carolina (July 19), the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock, Calif. (July 27), WE Fest at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lake, Minn. (August 9), Sam Houston Race park in Houston (August 23), Odawa Casino Resort in Petoskey, Mich. (September 6), and Sharp’s Chapel Community Park in Maryville, Tenn. (October 11).

Cyrus, who scored a chart hit of his own last fall with his 10th album Home At Last, has also been tapped to host this year’s CMT Awards April 14 at The Curb Event Center in Nashville with daughter Miley.

The pair’s performance during the ceremony is likely to include their Top 5 duet, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go.”
