Garage rockers Suffrajett will be along for the ride for the duration of the tour.

The Dollyrots will also make a pair of showcase appearances at the South By Southwest Music & Media Conference in Austin March 12-13.

In May, the band will join Northern State for a trio of appearances: May 10 at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, May 11 at The Casbah in San Diego and May 12 at Club Congress in Tucson, Ariz.

Awesome, which was released last March on Joan Jett‘s Blackheart Records imprint, is The Dollyrots second album and the first to feature drummer Chris Black who replaced Amy Wood.

In addition to a kicked up cover of Melanie’s classic “Brand New Key,” the album features a number of tracks that have been featured in a variety of television shows and commercials, including “Watched Me Go (Kissed Me, Killed Me)” and the title track.
