New Mexico Fire Closes Clubs

The El Rey Theatre and Launchpad nightclub in Albuquerque, N.M., closed indefinitely February 29th because of water and smoke damage caused by a fire in an adjacent space.

The venues share space with the Golden West Saloon, which caught fire in the early morning and suffered a collapsed roof.

Shows were moved to venues including the Atomic Cantina, Sunshine Theatre and Moonlight Lounge.
