Emmys Call Nokia Home

AEG has signed a 10-year deal with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences to host the Primetime Emmy Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live beginning September 21st with the 60th annual telecast of the show.

The agreement also makes the 7,100-seat theatre home to the Creative Arts Emmys, and sees the Creative Arts and Governor’s Balls move to the Los Angeles Convention Center adjacent to the 18-acre L.A. Live district.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
