We never thought we’d see the day when we could say we have new dates for Return To Forever, but the legendary jazz supergroup featuring Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola and Lenny White is back, and has a massive tour to make up for lost time.
Starting with a two-night engagement in Austin, TX, on May 29 and 30, the band’s tour plans fill up June, July and the first week of August with Denver, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto and Cleveland among the U.S. dates during the first five weeks of the tour. Then it’s off to Europe where the schedule lists stops in Lithuania, Poland, Hunagary, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and The United Kingdom. Then it’s back to North America for shows in Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston and New York.
Brit comedian Eddie Izzard lines up more U.S. gigs, including three nights in Austin and two nights in Cleveland, Houston and Denver. Eddie also has a three-night stand in Philadelphia in his latest update.
Actor, singer, renaissance man Billy Bob Thornton lines up some more concert dates. Catch the “Astronaut Farmer” in Lubbock, TX (July 19), Jackson, MS (July 30) and Chicago, IL (August 29). Other cities include Corpus Christi, Annapolis and Pittsburgh.
And Sugarland updates today with new shows for Las Cruces, NM (April 19), Morrison, CO (May 10), Cheyenne, WY (July 25), Minot, ND (July 26), Davenport, IA (July 29) and Milwaukee, WI (August 28).
