Off-Camera ACM Noms

The off-camera nominations for the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced March 20th.

The nominees for venue of the year included Crystal Grand Music Theatre in Lake Delton, Wis.; DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Mich.; Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Va.; Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, Ill.; and Star Plaza Theatre in Merriville, Ind.

For nightclub of the year, the nominees included Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, Texas; Cowboy’s in Colorado Springs, Colo.; Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte, N.C.; Joe’s Sports Bar in Chicago and Wild Bill’s in Duluth, Ga.

The nominees for casino of the year included Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada; Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.; Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, Nev., and Turning Stone Casino in Verona, N.Y.

The nominees for Don Romeo talent buyer of the year included Todd Boltin of Variety Attractions, Gil Cunningham of Neste Event Marketing, Gary Osier of Gary Osier Presents, Fran Romeo of Romeo Entertainment Group and Randy Wright of Integrity Events.

Promoter of the year nominees included Brad Garrett of Police Productions, Don Kronberg of Nitelite Promotions, Darin Lashinsky of Outback Concerts, Brian O’Connell of Live Nation and Glenn Smith of Glenn Smith Presents.
