Minogue is also gearing up for a major U.K. and European tour that kicks off in Paris just days before her 40th birthday and wraps with a stunning seven-night stand at London’s O2 arena July 26-August 4.

Stops on the European leg of KYLIEX2008 include Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Latvia and The Netherlands.

Kylie’s U.K. dates include four shows at Odyssey Arena in Belfast (June 26, 27, 29, 30), four shows at S.E.C.C. in Glasgow (July 5, 6, 8, 9), six shows at Manchester Evening News Arena (July 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18) and four shows at Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle upon Tyne (July 20-24).

There is no word on whether the singer will extend her tour to North America or the rest of the world.

X, which was released last November in the U.K. and the rest of the world, is Minogue’s first new studio release since 2003’s Body Language.

The album features collaborations with a host of top-notch songwriters, including Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams, Natasha Bedingfield), Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears, The Spice Girls) and Bloodshy & Avant (Madonna, Britney Spears), as well as production work on a couple of tracks by Scottish electro-wiz Calvin Harris.

The U.S. release includes a bonus track – “All I See,” featuring New York rapper MIMS – that will be released as the first single in the States.

For its online premiere, X will be available for streaming in its entirety on Minogue’s official MySpace page from March 25-27.
