Nashville Fixture Miles Bell Dies

Artist manager Miles Bell, 61, died of kidney failure March 19th in Nashville, where he’d enjoyed a long career working with such artists as Cledus T. Judd, T. "Bubba" Bechtol, Lonnie Shore and magician Harry Blackstone Jr.

Bell was president and CEO of Williams Bell & Associates from 1992-2000, during which time he managed 36 visual artists, comedians, magicians, singers and bands.

Beginning in 1991, he was president and CEO of Miles Bell & Associates and from 1979 to 1991 was president and CFO of Limeliters International.

Bell was a member of professional organizations including the International Theatrical Agents Association, Nashville Association of Talent Directors and the Tennessee Film Entertainment and Music Commission.

His family suggests remembrances be made in Bell’s name to MusicCares.
