Colorado No-Show Still Up In Air

A scheduled J. Holiday concert that never materialzed has left some fans in Colorado Springs, Colo., asking where they can get refunds.

Fans waited hours for J. Holiday to perform at the Historic City Auditorium February 23rd, according to the local KRDO News, but were later informed the artist wouldn’t be appearing.

"They said he wasn’t happy with the way the venue looked and that he was missing something in his dressing room," concertgoer Tabitha McCluney told KRDO.

When McCluney tried to get her money back, she was told multiple times by ticketing company Ticketswest to wait and resubmit her request for a refund.

Promoter Jon Nirnberger of Aspen Group told the station he had received confirmation that "a makeup date will be scheduled immediately in order to provide all concert attendees with the show they deserve to see and have already paid for.

"We have been notified by J. Holiday’s management team that due to touring and routing issues they have been delayed in providing this date to us, but a member of J. Holiday’s record label did inform us today that he hopes to have this situation resolved by [March 18th]."

While Nirnberger said details regarding the revised date would be released once "J. Holiday, his management, staff and record label provide the information to us," an agency representative told Pollstar they could not disclose that information to anyone but management or the promoter. Repeated attempts to reach a representative for Holiday’s label were unsuccessful.

At press time, there was no word on a rescheduled date.
