The trek kicks off April 20 at Richard’s On Richards in Vancouver and will see the band hitting venues of various sizes across the U.S. and Canada before heading to Europe for the summer festival season.

Stops on the schedule so far include Bimbo’s 365 Club in San Francisco (April 23), the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif. (April 25), Fillmore Auditorium in Denver (April 28), the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (May 4), 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (May 27-28), Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto (June 5), National City Pavilion in Cincinnati (June 10), and the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tenn. (June 13).

Tickets for some shows are available at Ticketmaster.com, with others going on sale over the next few weeks.

European festivals on The Raconteurs’ calendar include Hovefestival in Arendal, Norway (July 4), T in The Park in Kinross, U.K. (July 12), Oxegen at Punchestown Racecourse in Naas, Ireland (July 13) and Leeds Festival in the U.K. (August 24).

Consolers of the Lonely was released March 25 in multiple formats in as many markets as was possible given the sudden release date.

According to a lengthy message on The Raconteurs’ web site, the band completed and mastered the album in the first week of March and then rushed it into production to make it available on vinyl, CD and for digital release to get it into the hands of fans as quickly as possible.
