Evans, Green Join Dainty

Australian concerts and theatrical promoter Paul Dainty added two senior executives to his Dainty Consolidated Entertainment.

Harley Evans takes over as executive director of touring effective July 1.

Between 1996 and 2003 he was at Ticketek, responsible for managing its strategic relationship with sports and entertainment bodies.

Since 2004 Evans worked at the Fulham Premier Leagues Football Club in the U.K., as head of ticketing and then head of business operations.

Chris Green has joined as executive director of theatrical. Most recently he was GM of Macquarie Leisure Trust. Between 1999 and 2003, Green was executive producer and artistic director at IMG Arts & Entertainment (Australia, Asia, New Zealand), responsible for the delivery of such shows as "Miss Saigon," "Oliver!" and "The Full Monty" and tours by Andrea Bocelli, Bryn Terefel and Shirley Bassey.

Before that he was executive administrator and association producer at Cameron Mackintosh International (Asia Pacific).

"We have been planning for some time to consolidate our executive team to ensure we can capitalise on the staggering growth of business opportunities currently available to DCE," managing director Paul Dainty said.

"I am delighted we have recruited people of the calibre of Harley and Chris, and we are really looking forward to working with them to build and implement DCE’s strategic plan for the next five to 10 years."
