Scorpion Sidelines Richard Thompson
Singer/songwriter Richard Thompson has been forced to postpone his April shows after he was stung by a scorpion while on vacation in Mexico, incapacitating his right hand for 2-3 weeks, according to his web site.
Affected dates include April 10 at Anderson Hall in Wolfeboro, N.H.; April 12 at Nock Auditorium in Newburyport, Mass.; April 15 at German House in Rochester, N.H.; April 19 at McCarter Theatre in Princeton, N.J.; and April 20 at Latchis Theatre in Brattleboro, Vt.
New dates for postponed shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
Thompson expects to be “back up to speed” in time for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2.
