Dylan Scores A Pulitzer

The times are a-changin’ for the Pulitzer Prize board, which recently honored Bob Dylan with a special citation.

Dylan picked up an honorary award for "his profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power."

The win marks the first time a rock ’n’ roll artist has been recognized with a Pulitzer (John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk were honored in 2006 and 2007).
