Zeppelin Coaster Debuts
Led Zeppelin – The Ride has officially launched at Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Cindy Ennis, 45, was the top bidder in a charity auction to be the first to ride on it.
She paid $1,829 for four seats, which breaks down to $4 per second per person, according to the Sun News. The $400 million, 55-acre park is expected to open April 15th, the paper added.
Other rides include the Moody Blues-themed "Nights in White Satin: The Trip," a slow moving, psychedelic, five-minute ride, and the Eagles-themed roller coaster "Life In The Fast Lane" – the longest roller coaster ride in the park, clocking in at two minutes.
The Moody Blues and Eagles are scheduled to perform at the park’s grand opening celebration June 2-3.
