The next chance to catch Prettyman Stateside is tonight at Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville, Fla.

Other stops include Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Ga. (April 19-20), WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, Ala. (April 22), Parish at House of Blues in New Orleans (April 24), Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin (April 26) and the Cambridge Room at House of Blues in Dallas (April 27).

The singer will follow her limited U.S. run with a swing through Japan that kicks off May 15 at Club Quatro in Osaka and includes stops in Nagoya, Kanazawa and Tokyo. Hello, released earlier this week, is the follow up to 2005’s twentythree and was recorded in London with producers and songwriters Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall) and Sacha Skarbek (Tunstall, James Blunt).

Between May and August, Prettyman will participate in a series of volunteer beach cleanup and restoration events co-sponsored by the Surfrider Foundation and the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project.

The singer will join local residents on the beach and perform at a special end-of day celebration in cities including Montauk, N.Y.; Austin and San Francisco.
