R. Kelly Sues Rowe Again

Representatives of R. Kelly announced April 16th that the R&B star has filed another lawsuit against promoter Leonard Rowe, charging him with "bilking investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by selling them nonexistent shares in R. Kelly’s recently completed ‘Double Up’ tour," according to a statement.

The suit alleges a scheme where "unwary investors" were promised half the profits from three Kelly concerts in return for a cash investment of $440,000.

Then, after the shows, the investors were presented false accounting documents that showed the concerts "lost" money.

Rowe, a veteran promoter and president of the Black Promoters Association of America, did not return a call for comment at press time and had yet to release a statement in response to the accusations.
