SpiralFrog Picks Rieger

Russ Rieger, onetime GM of Madonna label Maverick Records, has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of strategic initiatives by SpiralFrog, a Web company that distributes licensed and advertising-supported free music downloads.

Prior to joining SpiralFrog, Rieger founded Pipeline, an entertainment firm that helps major brands take advantage of new media platforms.
