The “Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival” just announce their daily plans. Running August 22 – 24 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, the festivals headliners are Radiohead (August 22), Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (August 23) and Jack Johnson (August 24) along with a veritable who’s-who of contemporary music also appearing on the bill. Some of the bands and artists on August 22 include Beck, Manu Chao, The Black Keys, Cold War Kids and The Felice Brothers. On August 23 the lineup includes , Primus, Steve Winwood, Lupe Fiasco, Regina Spektor and Two Gallants. The August 24 lineup includes performances by Wilco, Widespread Panic, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Broken Social Scene, Andrew Bird, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and .

When it comes to Americana, it doesn’t get any more real than Tony Joe White. Tagged “The Swamp Fox” back before we can remember, over 20 big-name artists have recorded his words and music over the years. Of course, “Rainy Night In Georgia” is probably his best known composition, but the man has also gave the world (and Elvis) “Polk Salad Annie.” New dates for The Swamp Fox include Memphis (May 31), Santa Cruz (June 11), San Francisco (June 12) and New York (June 25).

Pat McGee Band updates today with a few new summer dates – July 1 in Bristol, RD; July 9 in Kansas City, MO; and August 22 in Dewey Beach, DE.

Finally, Kris Kristofferson adds a few July Germany dates to his summer plans. New listings include Berlin on July 12, Munich on July 14 and Bonn on July 22.
