The trek kicks off June 29 at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia and runs through the end of November.

Stops include XL Center in Hartford, Conn. (July 3), Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland (July 6), Ford Center in Oklahoma City (July 10), MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (July 19), HP Pavilion at San Jose in California (July 24), Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta (July 30), United Center in Chicago (August 4), Bell Centre in Montreal (October 20), Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. (October 26), TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Mass. (November 3), Toyota Center in Houston (November 18) and EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City (November 22).

Tickets go on sale beginning May 16 at LiveNation.com and Coldplay.com.

Before kicking off the Viva La Vida Tour, Coldplay will play free concerts in London (June 16 at the Brixton Academy) and New York City (June 23 at Madison SquareGarden).

The contest will run May 9 through June 1. Winners will receive notification on June 5.

Vida, which is due June 17, is the follow up to 2005’s X&Y and was produced by Brian Eno and Markus Dravs.
