The band kicks things off tonight at Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., and is scheduled to hit venues of various sizes through late June.

Highlights include stops at The Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia (May 10), Bell Centre in Montreal (May 14), Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. (May 19), The E Center in West Valley City, Utah (May 23), the Sasquatch Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash. (May 25), Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (May 31), American Airlines Center in Dallas (June 6), St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. (June 11), Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. (June 16), and Madison Square Garden (June 20) and Radio City Music Hall (June 21) in New York City.

The Cure’s as-yet-untitled upcoming disc, its first studio release since 2004, is planned to be a double album.

The band will release four singles in anticipation, one a month beginning May 13, in digital and physical formats. All four will feature a non-album b-side track.
