That’s a lot of Ned. And it’s going to be a lot of jamming fun, too, with headliners the David Grisman Quintet, Steve Kimock with Melvin Seals & JGB, The Motet, Split Lip Rayfield, Tony Furtado Band and many others lighting up the festival’s stage.

A late addition to the lineup, PRAANG, features Kimock with The String Cheese Incident‘s Michael Travis & Jason Hann, and Jamie Janover.

Jam band fans are in for a special treat with appearances by side projects of members of The String Cheese Incident and Leftover Salmon: Kyle Hollingsworth Band and Vince Herman & Great American Taxi.

The outdoor festival also features selections from some of the Rocky Mountain State’s finest microbreweries in a spectacular setting at about 3,000 feet and a 25-minute drive from Boulder, Colo.

But the music is the main attraction, and NedFest features six bands on its mainstage per day, with acoustic “‘tweener” sets between bands for a full day of bluegrass, jazz, world and hopefully, a mashup of all three and more.

More artists are expected to be added to the lineup over the summer.

Tickets are available through the festival’s online ticket store at NedFestTickets.com through August 18th.

See the NedFest Web site at Nedfest.com for a list of other ticket outlets through day of show.
