After kicking off the year with a tour through Europe and Japan, recently wrapping up a co-headline tour with Paramore and planning a European tour for June, the rockers have just announced a string of July tour dates in the US and Canada.

The Boston Globe recently called their live show “forceful, galvanizing and exhilarating” and Jimmy Eat World doesn’t plan to disappoint from the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix June 18 to the end of its run at the Fillmore in San Francisco July 18.

Other stops along the way include Le Medley in Montreal (July 1), Sound Academy in Toronto (July 4), The Crofoot in Pontiac, Mich. (July 5), First Avenue in Minneapolis (July 7), Odeon Events Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (July 9), Edmonton Events Centre in Alberta (July 11), Showbox in Seattle (July 15) and the Roseland Theatre in Portland, Ore. (July 16).

Jimmy Eat World recently released a new two-disc deluxe edition of its 2001 breakthrough album Bleed American.

The CD features the smash hits “The Middle,” “Sweetness” and “A Praise Chorus,” as well as b-sides and bonus tracks, including “Your House 2007,” a new version of the Bleed American track.
