Melbourne artist manager Ralph Carr has signed Hollywood actress/musician Juliette Lewis for Australian representation for her music.
He’ll release her album with her band The Licks in the southern winter on his Illicit Records. He’s negotiating for a club tour.
Carr managed Lewis when he was based in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. Juliette and The Licks played club shows this year after appearing at the MTV Music Awards.
"She operates out of the box, she’s risqué, she takes risks and she rocks," said Carr, whose other three clients Vanessa Amorosi, Carl Risely and Kate Ceberano all have records in the Top 10.
