Blue Highway updates today, releasing dates as far into the future as next June. Gigs include July 11 in Kent, Ohio; August 2 in Walhalla, South Carolina; September 7 in Knoxville, Tennessee; October 9 in Whitesburg, Kentucky; February 21 & 22, 2009 in Tacoma, Washington; March 1 in Potter Valley, California; and June 12 in Duffield, Virginia.
Chick Corea and John McLaughlin will play some shows together next year. Like March 21 in Berkeley, California; April 4 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and April 7 in Urbana, Illinois.
Michael Martin Murphey is a very busy man this year. But then, the artist is busy almost every year. This year’s routing shows him touching down in La Veta, Colorado, in July (17 – 18 and August 1 – 2, 8 – 9 & 15 – 16). Other stops include Salinas, California, on July 13; Red River, New Mexico, on July 31; Enterpirse, Oregon, on August 22; Wheeling, West Virginia, on September 25; Austin, Texas, on December 9 and Roswell, New Mexico, on December 21. Mr. Murphey is also playing Stockmen’s Hotel / Casino in Elko, Nevada, January 29 – 31.
And the honors of having the last update of the day goes to J.D. Crowe & The New South. New dates include August 3 in Hyden, Kentucky; August 8 in South Park, Pennsylvania, August 15 in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania; and February 28, 2009 in Lenoir, North Carolina.
