Tweeter Now Comcast

The Tweeter Center near Boston changed its name to the Comcast Center June 4th, with new signage already in place.

The 19,900-capacity amphitheatre, formerly known as the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts, carried the Tweeter marquee until the bankrupt electronics store chain pulled out of four naming rights deals.

The Tweeter Center on the Waterfront in Camden, N.J., recently changed its name to Susquehanna Bank Center.

"We are very pleased to Welcome Comcast to the Live Nation family and are looking forward to both an exciting summer and a successful, long-term partnership," Live Nation New England President Don Law said.

Terms of the 10-year naming rights deal were not disclosed.
