Icelandic band Sigur Ros heads for Europe this summer. After a June run of U.S. shows, look for the band in places like Lausanne, Switzerland (July 9), Zurich, Switzerland (July 14), Cologne, Germany (August 11), Helsinki, Finland (August 24) and St. Petersburg, Russia (August 26). In between the band’s July and August Euro dates, the band slips Down Under for a few Australian gigs such as their West Melbourne appearance on August 1, and their Moore Park show on August 2.

Peter Mulvey updates this afternoon with new shows for Wisconsin, Nebraska and, well, Wisconsin. Which shouldn’t come as a surprise since the artist is from Milwaukee. Particulars include July 20 in Sheboygan, WI, at the Midsummer Festival Of The Arts; November 21 in Hastings, NE, at the Listening Room and February 7, 2009 in Wausau, WI, at Shoulder To Shoulder.

Very funny guy Lewis Black keeps adding dates. Mr. Black’s latest additions include July 19 in Uncasville, CT; August 28 in Milwaukee, WI; September 28 in Fort Wayne, IN, and January 3 & 4 in Airway Heights, WA.

And it’s been a while since we’ve had the opportunity to shine the spotlight on Manic Hispanic. New dates are for the west coast and include stops in San Francisco at Slim’s on August 1; Sacramento at The Distillery on August 2; Seattle at Studio Seven on August 4 and San Diego at The Casbah on August 9.

During the past couple of hours we also updated the schedules for Man Man, Maria Schneider, Liz Callaway, Little Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Winter, Kenny Garrett, Kurt Elling, Lagwagon, Johnny Rodriguez, Gene Watson, Enter the Haggis, Donita Sparks, Charlie Hunter, Bucky Covington, Blind Melon, Bill Anderson, Scythian, Steven Curtis Chapman, Trout Fishing In America and The Aquabats.

We’re heading into the final stretch of today’s concert data adventure. Don’t miss your last update of the day – The Closing Bell – coming up around 5 pm (PDT) from Pollstar.com!
