The journey begins at Circle Line Pier 38 at 42nd street and the Hudson River. The cruises glide down the Hudson River and sail through New York Harbor, passing landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and more.

This year’s edition of the river cruise series, formerly known as the NYC Blues Cruise and in its 13th year, kicks off June 19 with Buckwheat Zydeco & Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas and wraps up September 5 with the FUV Boat 08: A Floating Dance Party to benefit WFUV Radio.

Additional dates include Donna the Buffalo July 10, Adrian Belew July 11, The Prisoners of 2nd Avenue with special guest Willie Nile July 17, The Nerds July 18 and Bjorn Again – The Abba Experience July 25. There’s also Roomful of Blues July 31, John Hiatt & The Ageless Beauties August 7, Eddie Money August 8, Coco Montoya & Popa Chubby August 12 and Raul Malo August 13-14. Bayou to Bourbon St. featuring Marcia Ball & Beausoleil avec Micheal Doucet perform August 15, Chris Smither / Sonny Landreth play August 20 and The Radiators entertain August 21.

Some shows, including Eddie Money and Buckwheat Zydeco & Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas, are offered twice per night, with shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. while the rest are offered at 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.

Tickets are nonrefundable and the cruises set sail rain or shine. Price per ticket is between $37.50 and $55 each in advance and between $40 and $60 the day of show.

Food, beer, wine, soft drinks and other beverages are available on board.
