Wonder Ends Decade-Long Wait

Having promoted his U.S. tour, Live Nation has unwrapped details of Stevie Wonder’s European shows, the first time he’s toured here in a decade.

A June 5 press conference at London’s Hard Rock Café, where the Motown legend performed eight songs including "Superstition," "Happy Birthday" and "Master Blaster," announced that September’s 12-date run will begin at Birmingham NIA September 8.

The other U.K. shows are at Manchester Evening News Arena and London’s O2 Arena.

All the mainland European shows, which begin at Rotterdam Ahoy, Holland, are promoted by LN. Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur, which is part-owned by Live Nation, will handle the German dates at Cologne Arena, Mannheim Sap Arena and Munich Olympiahalle September 22-25.

The other shows are at Aalborg Gigantium in Denmark, Stockholm Globe in Sweden, Hamar Vikingskipet in Norway, Milan Datchforum in Italy and Paris Bercy.
