Deep Purple’s fall tour of Europe is shaping up nicely. At least for Germany, for it looks as if the band will almost have to apply for German residency permits when you consider the number of dates they’re doing in that country. Like Hannover (November 1), Kassel (November 2), Erfurt (November 4), Kiel (November 6), Frankfurt (November 7) and Stuttgart (November 8). Other German towns include Magdeburg, Berlin, Oberhausen, Karlsruhe, Munich and Bamburg.

Call ’em country, call ’em punk, call ’em rock, but whatever you call ’em, call ’em Lucero. The band plays all over the U.S. in July and August and new dates include July 26 in San Francisco; July 23 & 24 in Los Angeles; July 29 in Salt Lake City; July 31 in Boulder; August 10 in New York and August 13 in Baltimore.

Just a short update for country star John Anderson today – July 3 in Springdale, AR; July 12 in Rising Sun, IN; July 26 in Bowling Green, MO; September 22 in Branson, MO; July 26 in Immokalee, FL; November 7 in Tampa; and March 3, 2009 in Hazard, KY.

And we have a few new ones for Tegan and Sara. September and October are the months for shows in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado and Alberta, Canada. Specifics include September 30 in Atlanta; October 3 in Philadelphia; October 5 & 6 in NYC and October 9 in Chicago.

During the past couple of hours we dreamed Friday daydreams while updating the schedules for Slaid Cleaves, , The Cheeseballs, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Ricochet, Ray Price, Steep Canyon Rangers, Omar Sosa, Monte Montgomery, In Flames, Gotye, Guy Clark, Eilen Jewell, David Bromberg, Cardiacs, Cut Off Your Hands, Billy Joe Royal, Atmosphere and Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head.

And the day is far from over. More dates, more schedules, more … stuff coming up in your last update of the day – The Closing Bell – scheduled for a 5 pm (PDT) post right here at Pollstar.com!
