Dates, Dates & More Dates …

The eternal touring machine known as Michael Franti & Spearhead updates with even more dates. This time we’re talking August and September listings for towns like Berlin, Germany (August 25); Cologne, Germany (August 26); Redmond, Washington (September 12); Portland, Oregon (September 13); Santa Fe, New Mexico (September 26); Flagstaff, Arizona (September 27) and Tucson, Arizona (September 28).

Keyboard legend Keith Emerson updates today with a few dates in Japan. Like October 15 & 16 in Tokyo at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall, and October 20 in Osaka at IMP Hall. Mr. Emerson also plays Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on September 7 at the Antic Theater.

It only looks as if Ra Ra Riot will play every single club in North America during the band’s September / October tour. New stops include Toronto on September 4 at The Legendary Horseshoe Tavern; September 16 in Denver at the Hi-Dive; September 24 in San Francisco at the Rickshaw Stop and October 15 in Philadelphia at Johnny Brenda’s. Other cities include Rochester (New York), Alt Lake City, Boise, Seattle, Dallas, Orlando and Atlanta.

And Catie Curtis makes today’s final update deadline with new listings for both this year and next. New ones for ’08 include October 16 in Eugene, OR, at WOW Hall and October 18 in Seattle at Tractor Tavern. Looking ahead to 2009 Ms. Curtis will play Omaha on January 23, Denver on March 6 and Corning (New York) on April 4.
