AEG Takes Over Keswick Theatre

The sale of the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pa., to AEG Live by the Jack Utsick / Worldwide Entertainment receivership has closed and the historic venue will be overseen by GM Judith Herbst and talent buyer Roy Snyder.

The Keswick’s current staff will come on board and all will work closely with Jon Hampton, AEG Live’s senior talent buyer for the Philadelphia region.

"The opportunity of stewarding this beautiful theatre as we enter the Philadelphia market is a rare opportunity for a company like ours. We intend to be good neighbors and extend a smorgasbord of entertainment to the City of Brotherly Love."

Pollstar reported the initiation of the sale in April, when Utsick receiver Michael Goldberg filed a court motion for its approval.
