Live Nation has been upgrading the stage of the 2,500-capacity venue, located on the grounds of the Mountain Winery, but it was not completed in time for a Styx show July 2nd, according to the Mercury News. Delays also required a July 6th Wynton Marsalis performance to be relocated to the Flint Center six miles away in Cupertino.

Then, also on July 6th, crew members for Boston inspected the stage and raised concerns about the stability of the new trussing, according to the paper. Two Boston shows scheduled for the following two evenings were also moved to the Flint Center.

Other shows affected were Bob Weir & Ratdog / Gov’t Mule July 9-10, which was moved to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, and Kathy Griffin’s July 11th performance, which was rescheduled for August 25th.

The firm that installed the trussing is reportedly on its way to the facility to fix the problem.

A Live Nation spokesman could not be reached for comment at press time.
