HoB Coat Fire

Before Bobby Digital, or RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, could take the stage at the House of Blues Chicago July 1st, the show was canceled because of a fire in the coat check room.

Live Nation spokesman John Vlautin told Pollstar a very small fire started in the coat room, which set off the sprinkler system in the building.

After patrons were evacuated, staff wasn’t able to clean up the venue in time so the show was canceled and refunds given that night.

There was no damage and HOB Chicago reopened the next day.
