Pete Kameron Dies

Industry vet, publisher and entrepreneur Pete Kameron, 87, died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Beverly Hills, Calif., June 29th, according to reports.

Kameron co-founded The Who’s label, Track Records, where Jimi Hendrix also recorded.

He was a one-time personal manager for The Weavers and the Modern Jazz Quartet and also worked in concert production. Kameron also co-founded L.A. Weekly.
