These days it seems like we can’t even walk outside to enjoy this fine Fresno weather (94 degrees in the shade with just a hint of monoxide in the air) without running into one or two new dates for Joe Satriani. Today is no exception as we add November 3 in New Orleans at House Of Blues and November 4 in Houston at House Of Blues for the axeman. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Lloyd Dobler Effect, the band named after John Cusack’s character in “Say Anything,” has a very serious-looking tour planned for the next couple of months. Playing colleges and clubs, dates include August 17 in Statesboro, Georgia, at Georgia Southern University; August 30 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, at Winthrop University; September 13 in Germantown, Maryland, at Green Turtle and September 23 in Chicago at Duffy’s Tavern.

Singer / songwriter / virtuoso Gary Pfaff packs his touring calendar with more dates. Along with shows at places like Rager’s in St. Simons Island, Georgia, on September 20 and the Esso Club in Clemson, South Carolina, on October 12, Mr. Pfaff has also booked dates at the various Wild Wing Cafes found throughout the Carolinas. Chances are, if there’s a Wild Wing CafĂ© in your town, Gary’s coming.

And we have a couple of new ones for Bryan Adams – September 21 in London at Royal Albert Hall, and September 25 in Bamberg, Germany, at Jako Arena.

During the last couple of hours we also updated the schedules for Dance Gavin Dance, Edwin McCain, Blind Melon, Ivoryline, Jason MacIsaac, Leah Randazzo Group, Micky & The Motorcars, Natalie Stovall, Wade Bowen, Wayne Toups and Victoria Vox.

But there’s still more concert data to untangle, sort out, press and fold before the day is out. Don’t miss your last update for the week – The Closing Bell – coming up around 5 pm (PDT), from Pollstar.com!
