Wayne “The Train” Hancock has put together a pretty extensive run of dates for the second half of 2008 as the artist honky-tonks his way across the USA. Newly posted shows have Mr. Hancock playing Petaluma, CA on August 8 at McNears Mystic Theatre; Eureka Springs, AR on September 25 at Pied Piper Pub & Inn; Byron, MN on October 23 at American Legion Post 119 and Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve at Safari Sam’s. Other locations include San Jose, Austin, For Tworth, St. Louis and Minneapolis.

Tim Reynolds And TR3 have a few new dates including a multi-night stand in Pomeroy, OH at the Fur Peace Station (March 27 – 29, 2009). Other dates include Charleston, SC at The Pour House on October 9 and Tampa, FL at Skipper’s Smokehouse on November 14.

Describing themselves as “cheaper than booze,” and “younger than Dylan,” Union Pulse updates today with new dates for July and August. Stops include Boston on July 27 at Times Bar; New York on July 30 at R Bar; Charlotte, NC at Stool Pigeons Restaurant and St. Louis on August 9 at Nadine’s Gin Joint.

Finally, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack adds a few new listings for September, October and November. Like September 11 in Fredericksburg, VA at KC’s Music Alley & Central Station; October 21 in Arbuits, MD at Fish Head Cantina and November 14 in College Park, MD at Santa Fe CafĂ©.
