Two Killed At Norway Rock
The two people found dead at Norway Rock Festival July 12 were likely killed by carbon monoxide poisoning, police say.
"We do not know exactly how they died, but we assume they suffocated on fumes while they were on the bus," Agder district police chief Asbjoern Enoksen told BBC News.
Six more festivalgoers were hospitalized after being found outside the vehicle.
All of the victims were believed to be Norwegian citizens in their 20s and 30s. The names of the two who died have not been disclosed.
Despite the deaths, the organisers of the 3-year-old festival at Kvinesdal, 270 miles southwest of Oslo, decided to continue with the event.
About 6,000 fans per day turned up to see a July 10-12 lineup including Alice Cooper, Motorhead and The Quireboys.
