Diamond Dave For Peanuts

After an imposter claiming to be David Lee Roth was saved from an allergic reaction to peanuts by Ontario police May 23, the real Van Halen frontman issued a statement saying it wasn’t him and the only thing he’s "allergic to is criticism."

An Ontario police representative reportedly said the fake Roth has "scammed a lot of people" in Canada and that he could be charged with obstruction of justice for telling cops he was in fact Diamond Dave.

After the nut scare, the fake Dave made an appearance at a Hamilton, Ontario, nightclub, wearing expensive clothes and a "hospital bracelet" as he partied with "two nurses from the hospital" and reportedly sang a song.
