Adler Busted For Drugs

Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was arrested July 18 in Los Angeles for allegedly possessing narcotics and being under the influence after police responded to a disturbance call.

Los Angeles Police Officer April Harding told the Los Angeles Times that Adler, 43, was taken into custody at about 4 a.m. stemming from a report of a man reportedly refusing to leave a home on Canyon Drive and causing a ruckus.

He was arrested and booked on drug charges and for an outstanding warrant. The drummer recently underwent detox and treatment on the VH1 series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and reportedly was to be a cast member on the "Sober Living" spin-off slated to air this fall.

Adler was booted out of GNR in 1990 for drug abuse and has a speech impediment from a series of strokes in 1996 caused by drug use, according to E! Online.
