The band will make a number of late summer stops at festivals in Europe, including Festival Sudoeste in Portugal, Electric Picnic in Ireland and the Connect Music Festival in Inveraray, U.K.

The North American leg kicks off September 12 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City and includes stops in Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Australian dates commence September 26 in Melbourne and feature stops in Newtown, Brisbane and Sydney.

The duo will return to its native U.K. in late November to play shows in Cambridge, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Bristol, Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, London and Dublin, Ireland.

Presale tickets for North American shows go on sale July 23 at Ticketmaster.com, with general ticket sales beginning July 25.

Seventh Tree, which hits the streets in February, is Goldfrapp’s fourth album of original material and marks a departure from the electronic dance vibe found on the group’s 2005 release Supernature.

Singer Alison Goldfrapp and multi-instrumentalist Will Gregory were reportedly inspired by some acoustic radio sessions they did last year to go for a softer, more ambient sound that recalls debut disc Felt Mountain, even incorporating acoustic guitars into the mix.
